CPD Points

CPD point training is required yearly for practicing health care professionals and is enforced by the HPCSA  (Health Professions Council of South Africa). Each registered health care professional has to ensure that they accumulate CPD points. This must be done every 12 months to ensure their knowledge is current and to ensure they keep their registration valid with the HPCSA. Successful candidates will be rewarded a competency certificate with which they can attain registration at the HPCSA, and the points will then be put onto their name and file. Each and every health care professional in South Africa has to accumulate CPD points in order to be able to carry on practicing under their registered number.
